This 4-week group is for parents of children and adolescents who suffer from diagnosed anxiety or OCD symptoms or excessive worries.
This is a fully virtual group.
You can log into the video meetings from anywhere using a computer, tablet, or phone.

SPACE is a parent-based treatment program for children and adolescents with anxiety, OCD, and related problems developed by Dr. Eli Lebowitz at the Yale Child Study Center.
In this group parents will learn the principles of SPACE and how through this systematic approach they can alter the way they respond to their child's anxiety. These shifts will strengthens their child's ability to cope while in distress and lessens their need to rely on their parents for support.

You will be able to pinpoint any of your own behaviors that are inadvertently fueling the flames of your child’s anxiety and walk away with a clear and straightforward game plan for reducing these accommodations.
Understand exactly what to do to help your child learn to cope with their anxiety and feel confident in your methods
Deepen and strengthen the relationship between you and your child as you work toward establishing a secure attachment bond
Form a community with the other members of the group (limited to 6 families) that you can lean on for support, as you bond over your shared experience as you and spend 4 weeks sharing and learning together.
If your insurance plan has out of network benefits, a portion of psychotherapy expenses may be covered by your insurance policy.
