Samantha Jaile is a Postdoctoral Psychology Fellow who completed her PsyD in Counseling Psychology at Felician University. She works with children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation challenges, life transitions, identity development, and relationship or family concerns. Samantha particularly enjoys working with pre-teens and adolescents as they navigate the developmental, emotional, and relational changes that come with growing up.

Samantha takes an integrative, relationship-focused approach to therapy, believing that meaningful change begins with helping patients feel comfortable, understood, and engaged in the process. She draws from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT, TF-CBT, and CPT, adapting treatment to each patient's needs and goals.

Warm and steady in session, Samantha balances acceptance and patience with thoughtful questions and gentle challenges that help patients recognize patterns and make meaningful progress. She is particularly skilled at building rapport with patients who may be new to therapy or unsure about the process.

Samantha's clinical training spans private practice, trauma-focused care, university counseling, psychological assessment, and the VA healthcare system. She completed her doctoral internship at the Alexandria VA Health Care System, where she provided individual and group psychotherapy using structured, evidence-based treatments and conducted neuropsychological evaluations. She also has extensive experience working with children and families affected by trauma.

Samantha earned her MA in Psychology from The New School for Social Research and her BA in Psychology from Iona University. She has also completed specialized training in Cognitive Processing Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

We equip parents with the tools to truly understand the building blocks of child development and how secure relationships form and thrive.

With this knowledge, parents are able to develop their own personal parenting frameworks so they can respond confidently and effectively to any challenge that comes along, resulting in families that are healthier, calmer, and more connected with one another.
