What you can expect from this group:
Divorce can feel confusing and destabilizing for children, even when the adults around them are trying their best. Many kids struggle to understand what’s happening, worry about what will change, or feel pulled between parents. Big feelings often get expressed through behavior, withdrawal, mood shifts, or questions they don’t quite know how to ask.
Our Divorce Process Group for Children, led by an experienced clinician, helps kids work through these emotions through art and interactive activities in a space designed just for them. Sessions are thoughtfully structured to spark conversation and emotional processing, while offering the relief and connection that comes from being with peers who are navigating similar family changes.

This group is designed for 4th-6th graders whose parents are going through a divorce or who are adjusting to life after divorce. It offers a warm, structured environment where children can make sense of their experiences alongside peers who truly understand what they’re going through.
